Product Overview
Wild and raw pine pollen powder, wild-harvested from Pinus massoniana growing at 1,100 to 1,500m in the mountains of China, far from cities or industrial pollution. It's processed through low-temperature, high-speed airflow pulverization that breaks open 98% of the pollen's cell walls, which is what allows it to be absorbed more directly rather than sitting largely undigested the way an uncracked pollen would.
Pine pollen has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years, valued there as an adaptogen and restorative superfood. It carries over 200 bio-active nutrients, is high in antioxidants including SOD, and is a complete protein containing all eight essential amino acids alongside MSM. It's also a naturally occurring source of phyto-androgens, including DHEA and androsterone.
Half a teaspoon (1.2g) is the maintenance dose, stirred into water, tea or a smoothie without boiling or overheating it, which can damage the nutrients. Mega-dosing at 5-10g a day is common in China for those wanting a more potent effect. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter.
100% wildcrafted, third-party tested, raw plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, paleo, non-GMO, with no added grains, preservatives, starch or fillers.
Directions for use
Serving size 1/2 tsp (1.2g). About 42 servings per container. Best consumed in its natural raw state in water, tea or your morning and afternoon smoothie. To avoid nutrient damage, do not boil or over heat this product.
Maintenance dose: Start with 1/2 tsp per day. This will provide a 40-day supply (approximately) in every 50 gram container. If you know you are sensitive to herbs, you may want to start with less.
Mega dose: Many people consume between 5-10 grams per day (3 slightly heaped tablespoons) for more potent effects. You can break this amount up during the day or consume all three tablespoons together.
Allergens: Some individuals may have a pollen allergy or be allergic to pine trees and pine powder. Avoid this product if you know you are allergic, or start slowly with a very small dose and see how your body reacts.
