Product Overview

Stone milled from Australian-grown spelt grain, slowly and at cooler temperatures than a roller mill runs at. That slower process keeps the bran and germ in the flour along with the endosperm, so nothing is stripped out before it reaches the bag.

Spelt is an ancient grain, and this flour carries its nutty, wholegrain flavour through to baking. It has a lower gluten level than common wheat flours, along with a higher protein content, and is generally considered easier to digest. It is a useful source of fibre and protein in a baking cupboard.

Use it much like an all-purpose flour, in pasta, bread and muffins. It is unbleached, additive and preservative free, non-GMO and unrefined.
