Each tea bag carries 1.84g of crushed Senna Alexandrina powder, the main ingredient, alongside eight further extracts — Crataegus Pinnatifida fruit, Hordeum Vulgare fruit, Nelumbo Nucifera leaf, Citrus Aurantifolia fruit, Plantago Asiatica seed, Vigna Umbellata seed, Rheum Officinale root and Poria Cocos stem bark.

Senna is a traditional herbal laxative for constipation. It contains glycosides, organic compounds that act as a laxative by smoothing the muscles as digested food moves through the intestines, which helps enhance stool volume and move it out of the colon — a process driven by chains of fatty acids that promote digestion, fermentation, and convert the glycosides into a purgative agent. Taken by mouth, it's typically effective within twelve hours.

Directions for Use (adults only)

Prepare tea with porcelain or glass utensils only. Bring water to a boil. Use one tea bag per cup, pour boiling water over the tea bag, cover the cup and allow to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir well before serving to release the essence of the herbs fully. For best results, drink one cup daily at bedtime.

Caution

Drink plenty of water while taking this product. Use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
