Roasted Australian almonds make up 32.5% of the pack, each one coated in dark chocolate with a minimum of 45% cocoa solids. The crunch comes first, then the chocolate melts around it - the ratio is generous enough that you are eating an almond with chocolate on it rather than a chocolate ball with something in the middle.
There is no added sugar. The chocolate is sweetened with maltitol, with erythritol in the coating, and cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin and natural vanilla making up the rest. Gum acacia gives the shell its finish. That keeps the carbs down, which is why it suits keto and low-sugar eating.
Straight from the pouch is the obvious way. They also scatter over yoghurt or a smoothie bowl, and a small handful after dinner does the job a square of chocolate usually would.
