Sodium carbonate does the base cleaning here, with sodium percarbonate acting as an oxy-action sanitiser and stain remover, and sodium metasilicate protecting cutlery and the dishwasher itself from corrosion. Sodium citrate, tetrasodium EDTA and polyacrylic acid act as water softeners, and fatty alcohol alkoxylate works as a rinse aid, so glasses come out clear rather than spotted.

Pure Australian lemon myrtle oil gives it a crisp, uplifting scent rather than a synthetic dishwasher fragrance. Formulated in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, biodegradable, phosphate-free, septic and grey water safe.

One heaped teaspoon (about 20g) per standard load is genuinely small relative to a 5kg bulk tub, which is where the value and reduced packaging waste come from. Cruelty-free, vegan, in a reusable, recyclable container.
