Simply add the recommended amount to your pet’s food each day to support their routine.
Dosage for Animals:
Small Dogs and Cats:
Start with a pea sized amount for the first week and then slowly increase to ¼ teaspoon twice a day with food
Medium Dogs:
Start with a pea sized amount for the first week and then slowly increase to ½ teaspoon twice a day with food
Large Breed Dog:
Start with a pea sized amount for the first week and then slowly increase to ¾ teaspoon twice a day with food
Horses:
Start with one teaspoon twice a day with food and adjust accordingly to how your horse responds
Ruminants (Goats, sheep alpacas, cows, etc.):
Start with pea size amount and up to 1 teaspoon only once a day with food
Small Critters (Chickens, birds, guinea pigs, reptiles, etc.):
Start with very small amounts and slowly increase until the desired effect is seen. A pipette is often a good solution to use on very small animals
Please note dosages are a guide only as every pet is different and should be increased slowly until desired results are achieved.
Teaspoon Guideline 1/4 teaspoon is about 2cm of paste, 1/2 teaspoon is about 4cm and 1 full teaspoon is about 8cm of paste.
Tips for Dispensing Turmeric Golden Paste:
Simply mix into their food or add to their favourite treat foods like Peanut Butter.
For fussy pets like cats, mix into a strong-smelling food like sardines.
Except for ruminants, little and often is preferable to one large feed.
If your pet is on prescription medication consult your veterinary practice.
