Weleda Skin Food 75ml

Warmed between the fingers, this balm-style moisturiser turns soft and glides on, pressed into cheekbones, hands or elbows for a dewy finish rather than rubbed in like a lotion. A little goes a long way, so the 75ml tin lasts well past what its size suggests.

It is built for the driest, most neglected patches of skin — knuckles, elbows, heels, the high points of the face in winter — and it can double as a multi-purpose balm across all of them rather than needing a separate product for each. Use it as needed on dry areas, keeping to a lighter layer in warmer months and building it up as the weather cools.

The base is water, plant oils and lanolin, thickened with beeswax and given body with a fatty acid ester and glycerin, with calendula and viola tricolor extracts folded in. The scent comes from natural essential oils rather than a synthetic fragrance — balanced rather than overpowering, in keeping with Weleda's approach of considered ingredients and responsible sourcing.

Directions

Warm a small amount between fingers and press into dry areas. Use sparingly.
