Berberine here comes from barberry root - Berberis vulgaris - as a standardised dry concentrate. Each capsule holds 416.25 mg of the extract, derived from a minimum of 3.75 g of dried root and equivalent to 333 mg of berberine.
The rest of the capsule is deliberately sparse. The flow aids are plant derived - brown rice, acacia and sunflower oil - with maltodextrin from corn, and the capsule shell is hypromellose made from softwood trees. No gluten, dairy, lactose, soy, egg, GMOs or PEGs, and nothing artificial.
Adults take two capsules daily, or as a practitioner directs. On that basis the 60-capsule pack is a month and the 120-capsule pack two - the smaller one for trying it, the larger for anyone already taking it steadily.
