The best argument for a semi-permanent colour is the way it leaves. This one fades gradually and evenly instead of leaving a hard line where the regrowth starts, so there is no deadline attached to it - if you decide not to repeat it, nothing has to be grown out.
The tone is a deep, glossy black with multi-dimensional shine rather than a flat block of colour. It works to enhance a natural dark shade, to cover grey, or to add depth between permanent colours.
