3N sits between the darkest brown and the medium: a deep dark brown with natural warmth and gloss, and dependable grey coverage. Over 75% of the ingredients are certified organic and natural.
Five components come in the box - a Clarify Shampoo to prepare the hair, the colour gel, a Colour Fix, and a Hydrate Organic Shampoo and Conditioner. Organic aloe vera leaf, comfrey leaf, chamomile flower and grapefruit fruit extracts run through them, along with hydrolysed wheat protein, panthenol, shea butter, sweet almond and jojoba oils and vitamin E. The formula is ammonia free, resorcinol free and paraben free, which keeps both the odour and the scalp irritation down.
Do the strand and sensitivity test first. Apply evenly to dry hair from roots to ends, leave 30 to 40 minutes, rinse until the water runs clear, then finish with the shampoo and conditioner. Patch test 48 hours before every use. Vegan, cruelty free and sustainably packaged.
