Thrive Tallow 100% Grass Fed Tallow

Tallow holds its own at high heat, and that is why it is worth having in the kitchen. Rendered gently from Australian grass-fed beef suet, it stays stable in a hot pan where seed oils break down, so a steak sears properly and roast potatoes come out genuinely crisp rather than soggy.

The flavour is mild and buttery rather than beefy, so it does not dominate what you cook. It suits frying, roasting, shallow-pan cooking, greasing a baking tray, and enriching anything savoury - and pan-fried eggs in tallow are a small revelation the first time.

One ingredient, 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, with no fillers or additives. It comes in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg jars: the smallest for trying it, the largest for a household that has already replaced its cooking oils.

Directions

For cooking, use in place of oil or butter for frying, roasting and pan cooking. For skin, warm a small amount between your fingers and apply to clean, dry skin, on the face, body or areas of dryness.

Storage

Store below 25 °C in a cool, dry place. In warmer weather, refrigerate if it softens - this does not affect product quality.
