SURFMUD Natural Zinc Tinted Covering Cream 45g

A mineral zinc cream with a tint built in, made for people who spend their day in the surf and sun rather than dabbing on sunscreen once before heading out. Zinc oxide (non-nano) sits on the skin as a physical barrier, and the tint is there to blend it in and cut down the white cast that plain zinc sunscreens are known for.

It is water and sweat resistant, developed to stay put through surf sessions and long days outdoors, and the texture is a rich, creamy one that is smooth to apply without being greasy. Beyond zinc oxide, the formula includes coco caprylate/caprate, bees wax, lanolin and kaolin clay, with iron oxides giving the tint its colour.

Surfmud packages it in a recyclable tin and formulates it reef-safe, free from oxybenzone and octinoxate.

Directions

Apply generously to exposed skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, or more often after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

Ingredients

Zinc oxide (non nano), coco caprylate/caprate, bees wax, lanolin, kaolin, iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C. Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children. Prolonged sun exposure should be avoided even when using sunscreen.
