2N is the darkest of the browns - a brown-black rather than a true black, so it reads as deep and natural in daylight instead of flat. The N stands for a neutral base, with no red or ash pulled through it.
The 170 mL kit comes in three parts: a 60 mL colourant, a 60 mL developer to mix with it, and a 50 mL Multi-Care Mask for afterwards. What sets the NaturTint colourant apart is the run of hydrolysed proteins carried alongside the dye base - oat, corn, soy and wheat - plus meadowfoam seed oil. The mask that finishes the job is built on shea butter with milk thistle ethyl ester, hydrolysed quinoa, hydrolysed baobab seed extract and vitamin E.
Application is onto dry, unwashed hair. Wear the gloves, work the mixture evenly from the roots through to the ends, leave it the recommended time - usually 30 to 40 minutes - then rinse thoroughly and follow with the mask.

Colour Developer (60 mL): purified water, hydrogen peroxide, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, laureth-3, oxyquinoline sulfate, and phosphoric acid.
Multi-Care Mask (50 mL): purified water, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, shea butter, milk thistle ethyl ester, hydrolysed quinoa, hydrolysed baobab seed extract, glyceryl stearate, tocopherol (vitamin E), fragrance, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, benzyl alcohol, and citric acid.
Directions
Wear gloves and apply the colour mixture evenly to dry, unwashed hair. Start at the roots and work through to the ends. Leave on for the recommended time (usually 30-40 minutes) before rinsing thoroughly. Follow with the included conditioner to lock in shine and softness.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the kit sealed until ready to use.
Warnings
