Three components come in this pack — a colourant, a developer and a multi-care mask — covering a full at-home colour or a root regrowth touch-up from one box, in NaturTint's 5M light mahogany chestnut shade. The colourant itself is a thick cream, worked through sections of dry hair rather than applied to wet.
The multi-care mask is separate from the colour chemistry: it's built around hydrolyzed quinoa, shea butter and a baobab (Adansonia digitata) seed extract, and it's used straight after colouring and again between applications, once the colourant and developer have been rinsed away.
This is a permanent hair colour, so the usual precautions apply before every use, not just the first time.
Directions
Read the instruction leaflet fully before every use. Carry out a skin sensitivity test and a strand test 48 hours before colouring, even if you have used hair dye before. Use gloves, mix only as directed, apply carefully, process for the stated time and rinse thoroughly. Keep the product in its carton until use so shade, warning and instruction details stay together.
Warnings
Contains phenylenediamines and hydrogen peroxide. Do not use hair colour if your scalp is irritated, damaged or broken. If a reaction occurs during testing or application, rinse immediately and do not continue using the product. Keep the shade name visible when storing so the correct colour is selected next time.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep components sealed until ready to use.
