Golden Chestnut, shade 4G in NaturTint's permanent range, carries a longer list of colour-developing agents than the lighter shades in the line — alongside the familiar p-phenylenediamine and 4-chlororesorcinol, this one adds 2-amino-4-hydroxyethylaminoanisole sulfate and m-aminophenol to reach the deeper tone.
The 155ml pack has three parts: the colourant itself, built on peg-2 oleamine and meadowfoam seed oil; a hydrogen peroxide-based developer; and a quinoa mask for after, made with shea butter, hydrolyzed quinoa and an adansonia digitata seed extract, for use once the colourant and developer are rinsed out.
