Product Overview

These sponge cloths come 5 to a pack, made in the same patented process as If You Care's paper towels — a three-dimensional blend of cellulose, non-GMO unbleached cotton and mirabilite, a natural mineral salt washed out during production. What's left is 70% cellulose and 30% cotton, extremely porous and able to absorb up to 20 times its own weight in water.

Cleaning

Use them on kitchens, countertops, bathrooms and general household cleaning. They leave no streaks, absorb liquids quickly and release them with a simple wring, and they're durable, tear and abrasion-resistant — reusable over and over, and machine washable in water up to 190°F (88°C), up to 300 times.

Use and care

Rinse the cloth and wring out excess water to increase absorbency before use. Use with water, soap and water, or any household cleaner. Afterwards, rinse thoroughly, wring out and leave flat to dry — or wash at up to 190°F (88°C) in the dishwasher or washing machine with a normal load. Don't use chlorine bleach or chlorine products, and air dry rather than tumble dry.

The environment

Made from 100% renewable resources, with no petroleum or fossil fuel products. Both the cloths and their packaging are certified compostable — throw them in the compost bin together after use, no need to separate. The packaging is a corn-starch biopolymer certified compostable in commercial composting facilities.
