GF Oats Oat Flour 600g

Coarse ground and made from dehulled, cleaned oats at GF Harvest's dedicated gluten-free, organic, non-GMO and Kosher certified facilities in Wyoming, USA. The flour itself has a silky texture and a subtle, oaty flavour, and works as a substitute anywhere a recipe calls for wheat flour.

Every batch is tested to under 3ppm — the lowest level the Elisa testing equipment can detect, and the same threshold every Australian product labelled gluten-free is held to. Under current Australian food labelling laws, though, a product containing oats still can't be called "gluten-free" here, so this one is described as gluten friendly and uncontaminated rather than gluten-free. It's grown by a family of coeliacs in Wyoming who farm the oats on land kept clear of wheat, rye and barley for at least two years, using dedicated harvesters and walking every field repeatedly through the season to check for volunteer glutinous plants.
