Product Overview
Shilajit is a resinous mineral substance, and this is the powdered form of it: water-extracted, dried and finely milled, with nothing added. The taste and aroma are genuinely earthy - closer to wet stone than to anything sweet - which is worth knowing before the first cup.
It dissolves readily in hot liquid, so the simplest use is a level small culinary teaspoon, about 1 gram, stirred into hot water. From there it goes into tea or coffee, through a smoothie, or over a nourish bowl. If the flavour is strong for you, more liquid softens it; adding liquid to the cup first and the powder second gives a smoother mix than the other way round.
At 1 g a serve, the pack sizes work out to about a hundred serves in the 100 g jar and two hundred in the 200 g pouch. The jar is violet glass, which keeps light off the powder; the pouch is a resealable refill for anyone already using it regularly.
The ingredient list is one line: organic shilajit powder. Vegan friendly, non-GMO, and free from soy, gluten and dairy. Keep the container sealed, use a dry spoon, and store it below 25 °C out of the sun. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake, and it is not for children.
