Desert Shadow Organic Hair Colour Deep Red Shadow 100g is a certified organic plant-based hair colour for shoppers wanting a deep copper-red result without bleach, peroxide, ammonia or PPD. It can give a deep fire red result on grey, light blonde and dark blonde hair, add a cherry-burgundy tone to light to medium brown hair, and create a red reflex effect on dark brown to black hair in sunlight.

The formula uses henna, cassia and aloe vera plant powders to colour and condition in one step. Because plant colour works with your natural base shade, the final result depends on your starting colour, hair history, processing time and repeat applications. It will not lighten hair.

Allow about 1 hour for non-grey coverage, or 1.5 to 3 hours for grey coverage. Short hair and root touch-ups may use around half a pack, medium hair usually uses one pack, and long or thick hair may need more. Once the lengths have reached the shade you like, use future applications mainly on the roots and refresh the lengths every fourth or fifth application.

Colour note: Always do a strand test first. Colour-resistant hair may need longer processing, and this shade is not recommended if you plan to bleach or lighten your hair blonde later.
