Byron Bay Chilli Spicy/Med Salsa Picante 300g

Tomatoes, onions, garlic, coriander, jalapenos and spices make up this salsa picante — a classic red tomato base pushed a notch spicier than most medium salsas, with the jalapenos doing the real work on heat. Zesty rather than mouth-numbing, it's built to still taste of tomato and spice underneath the chilli.

The obvious use is tacos and corn chips, but it holds up well stirred into gravies or sauces for meat and pasta dishes too, where the extra heat and tang add something a plain tomato sauce doesn't.
