A hot chocolate with bone broth in it, which sounds unlikely until you see the ingredient list. Coconut milk leads, then allulose for sweetness, then the Bone Broth Body Glue itself at 21% - grass-fed beef bones with naturally evaporated sea salt - with cocoa powder, MCT oil at 7.3%, vanilla powder and organic reishi mushroom extract at 2.4%.
The cocoa and coconut milk do most of the talking. The result is creamy and chocolatey with a faint savoury depth behind it, and the salt keeps it from being cloying. Reishi is the quiet addition, and it is where the Relax name comes from.
Stirred into hot water it makes a warm evening drink - the obvious use, and where most of the jar goes. The same spoonful can be treated as a concentrated base in cooking if you want it there.
Start with the serve on the label and adjust to taste depending on how strong you like it and how big your cup is. The 390 g jar keeps in the pantry and goes a long way at a spoon at a time.
