Four devices in one housing: an ultrasonic aroma diffuser, a gentle humidifier, a mood light and a Bluetooth speaker. That last one is the unusual part - the base streams music, podcasts or soundscapes from a phone, so the bedside table needs one object instead of three.
Setting it up takes a minute. Fill the tank to the max line, add five or six drops of pure essential oil, replace the cover and plug it in. The Mist button starts the diffusing and the Light button cycles the colour and brightness. From there the Hydrone or iAroma app takes over if you want it to, controlling mist, lighting, timers and the audio.
It runs up to 15 hours continuously, quietly enough to sleep through, and the surface stays cool to the touch - a real consideration in a child's room. Timers and alarms set an automatic shut-off, and it switches itself off when the water runs out.
The unit is made from BPA-free plastic with an ultrasonic transducer, LED lighting module and integrated speaker. Oil Garden manufactures in Australia and has been working in natural wellness for over thirty years; the packaging is 100% recycled board and kraft paper with compostable mailers and biodegradable tapes.
Empty the tank if it is going to sit unused, and clean it periodically so residue does not build up.
Directions
Place the unit on a flat, stable surface and remove the top cover. Fill the water tank up to the maximum line, then add five to six drops of your preferred pure essential oil. Replace the cover and plug the adaptor into a power outlet. Press the power button on the back to turn the device on, then use the Mist button to start diffusing and the Light button to adjust the colour or brightness. You can also connect via the Hydrone or iAroma app to control mist, lighting, timers, and Bluetooth music streaming. For best results, set a timer or alarm for automatic shut-off. The unit will also switch off automatically once the water runs out.
Storage
Store the unit in a cool, dry place below 30 °C. Empty the water tank when not in use for extended periods. Clean the tank periodically as per the manufacturer's instructions to prevent residue build-up.
