Coconut and olive oil, saponified rather than made with synthetic surfactants, form the cleaning base here, with organic soapwort herb extract and coco glucoside doing the actual lifting. Lavender flowers, horsetail herb and witch hazel bark are folded in as organic extracts, alongside seaweed extract, sea salt and guar gum, and the citrus fusion scent comes from orange, mandarin and tangelo essential oils rather than a synthetic fragrance.

It works as a regular wash liquid, and doubles as a pre-wash soak for anything with a stubborn stain — leave it to sit on the fabric before the wash cycle rather than adding it at the last minute. Being phosphate-free and biodegradable, it's safe to send down a grey water system, which matters if your laundry water is being reused on the garden.
