The mint is the whole proposition. Peppermint oil with menthol, thymol, eugenol and methyl salicylate gives this a sharp, cold hit that lingers well after rinsing - which is what people who find natural toothpastes tame are usually looking for.
Underneath it the formula is fluoride free, built on calcium carbonate as the polishing mineral with hydrated silica, so it lifts surface stains without the harsh abrasives that scratch enamel. Cellulose gum holds the paste together and sea salt and stevioside balance the flavour. Echinacea purpurea, myrrh and parsley extracts round out Red Seal's herbal base.
It is low foaming, since there is no SLS in it, which takes some adjustment if you are used to a mouthful of froth - but it rinses away cleanly and leaves nothing behind. Also free from triclosan, artificial colours and parabens.
A pea-sized amount, brushed thoroughly at least twice a day and after meals. Suitable for adults and children over six, with supervision for children.

Brush thoroughly after meals or at least twice daily. Use a pea-sized amount and rinse well. Suitable for adults and children over six years.
Storage
Store below 30 °C in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed. Keep out of direct sunlight.
