Ninety-one per cent of the can is grass-fed New Zealand lamb, and that figure includes the organs: liver, heart, tripe, blood, spleen, kidney and ground bone alongside the muscle meat. Eggs, sunflower oil and flaxseed flakes come next, then New Zealand green mussel, brown and dried kelp, pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, apples and pears, with added vitamins and minerals to make it complete and balanced.
Being a single-protein recipe, it is worth considering for a dog that reacts to mixed-meat foods. There are no grains, fillers or artificial preservatives.
