Product Overview
Lamb, and only lamb, for the animal protein - meat, tripe, heart, lung, liver, kidney and ground bone, which together make up more than 90% of the recipe. That single-protein approach is what makes it worth considering for a dog that reacts to mixed-meat foods.
Ground bone matters as much as the muscle meat here. Along with the organs it is what makes the formula complete and balanced rather than just high in protein, and it is closer to what a dog would eat in a whole-prey diet than a meat-only food would be. Carrot, pumpkin, broccoli, flaxseed flakes, New Zealand green mussel and dried kelp fill in the rest, with added vitamins and minerals.
All the ingredients are New Zealand sourced and traceable, and there are no grains, gluten or artificial additives in it.
To serve, add a quarter cup of water per cup of food, mix and leave it two minutes - it comes back soft and smelling strongly of lamb. Dry, it works as a topper over an existing meal. Once rehydrated it needs eating within thirty minutes. Complete and balanced for all life stages, from puppies to seniors, and worth transitioning onto gradually. Keep clean water available.
