Between full colours there is usually a fortnight where the regrowth shows and a whole kit feels like overkill. This is the in-between fix: 45 mL of targeted colour with an applicator, worked straight onto dry roots and rinsed out minutes later.

The shade sits in NaturTint's Light Brown family, so it is made to blend with a colour you have already used rather than to stand alone. Applied along the parting and around the hairline it takes the regrowth back to match, and because it is only going on the roots there is no need to work it through the lengths or re-saturate hair that is already coloured.

A 45 mL tube covers one to two applications depending on how much you are touching up, which makes it the sort of thing that lives in the bathroom drawer and comes out once between colours. Rinse until the water runs clear, then style as usual.

Patch test 48 hours before each use, and wear the gloves supplied. Read the leaflet in the pack for timing before you start.
