Whole mustard seeds make up just under a third of this jar — 31.25% — alongside vinegar, water and sea salt, and nothing else. It's a traditional French-style Dijon, smooth in texture, that thickens dressings, adds piquancy to sauces and marinades, and brings a depth of flavour to stews and soups.

Stir a dollop into dips, coleslaw or marinades, toss roasting vegetables in mustard and maple, or spread it straight onto a sausage off the barbecue.
