The dilution ratios are what make a bottle of castile worth having. One to two tablespoons in a litre of warm water cleans surfaces; up to a quarter cup in a bucket does the floors; a small squeeze in the sink washes dishes; and a quarter to half a cup handles a load of laundry. Used neat on skin, it is a body wash or hand soap.
The formula is water with saponified olive oil and saponified coconut oil - potassium hydroxide is used during saponification to turn the oils into soap, and none of it remains in the finished product. That is the entire ingredient list.
There is no fragrance of any kind, not even essential oils, which is what makes it usable on babies, around pets, and by anyone whose skin objects to scented products. The lather is silky and low-foaming, and it rinses off without leaving a film.
It is biodegradable, vegan and cruelty free, free from SLS, SLES, parabens, synthetic preservatives, artificial fragrances and petrochemicals, and grey-water safe when diluted appropriately. The packaging is recyclable.
Five hundred millilitres sounds modest until you work through the dilutions - at a tablespoon or two per litre, it goes a very long way. Patch test any surface before cleaning it, and keep the soap out of the eyes.

Store sealed, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes; if irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly and discontinue use. Always patch test on surfaces when using as a household cleaner.
