Base Soap Bar Coconut Castile (Boxed) 120g

Coconut oil makes a hard bar and a big lather, and both show here. It works up quickly between the hands or on a washcloth into a thick, creamy foam, and the bar itself holds its shape rather than turning to mush in the dish after a week.

The formula is short: saponified coconut oil with sodium lactate and gluconate. There are no synthetic detergents, artificial fragrances or harsh additives, and the coconut scent is faint - the smell of the oil rather than a fragrance added on top. It cleans without stripping, so it suits daily use on face, hands and body, including for sensitive skin.

Let it dry out between washes and it will last considerably longer; a draining dish is the difference between a bar that goes the distance and one that dissolves.

Directions

Lather the soap bar with water between your hands or on a washcloth. Apply to wet skin, massage gently, and rinse thoroughly. Allow the bar to dry between uses for longevity.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a draining soap dish to extend the life of the bar.
