A concentrated powder built on a working list of plant and mineral ingredients rather than a single detergent base. Sodium silicate and sodium carbonate lift the pH and soften the water; sodium gluconate and sodium citrate bind calcium and magnesium ions so the other ingredients can clean properly; sodium polyacrylate and carboxymethyl cellulose stop soil settling back onto fabric during the wash. Two glucose-derived surfactants, sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate and lauryl glucoside, do the actual cleansing work, lifting oil and dirt so it rinses away.

Soapwort extract adds further cleansing action from the Saponaria officinalis plant, and mint balm extract — from Melissa officinalis — carries rosmarinic acid. The scent comes from an essential oil based fragrance rather than a synthetic perfume. It's suitable for front and top loaders in cold or warm water, with the dose adjusted for load size and soil level. Soapwort Extract — an extract of the Saponaria officinalis plant with cleansing action.
