At 5L this is the bulk size, meant for households doing regular loads who would rather buy once and top up a smaller bottle than keep replacing a small one. It works in both front and top loaders — dose according to the pack directions, and decant into a clean smaller bottle for the laundry if that suits your routine better than handling the full drum each wash.
