What’s so good about Açai? 

This organic purple jewel contains more than 20x the antioxidants of blueberries and contains high levels of vitamins A and C. Our Açai has been reflectance dried, preserving around 85% of the otherwise volatile nutrients such as antioxidants, polyphenols and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Açai also contains 19 Amino Acids and a variety of vitamins and minerals.

What’s so good about antioxidants? 

Antioxidants provide a multitude of health benefits by providing protection to cells from free radical damage. This is important to help enable cells to function at their optimum and reduce the likelihood of dysfunction across a multitude of systems, specifically the cardiovascular system.

Our Açai Berry Blend has been tested for its antioxidant potency using an ORAC test (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) and has demonstrated a very high antioxidant capacity, even when compared to other high antioxidant foods.

What drying method is used for our fruits, and why is it so good?

We use reflectance window drying to gently dry our premium fruits. We use this method because it provides the highest level of preservation of volatile vitamins and nutrients in food powders compared with any other drying method. This means that antioxidants, water-soluble vitamins like vitamin C and B vitamins can be retained to provide their health benefits.
